Privacy Policy

Introduction
iRollCall ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our attendance tracking service.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account.
- Roll Call Data: Event details you create including titles, dates, locations, and descriptions.
- Attendance Records: Check-in data including participant names (if collected), timestamps, and status.
- Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
- Usage Data: Browser type, device information, and interaction with our service, including data collected via the analytics, session recording, and advertising tools described below.
Analytics and Advertising Tools
We use the following third-party tools to understand how visitors use iRollCall:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: Collect aggregate usage data such as pages viewed, session duration, and general location (derived from IP address), and help us determine whether an advertising visit led to an organizer signup. Attribution data may include campaign tags and Google click identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID; these are stored only in admin-only funnel records. We do not send participant names, roll-call titles, notes, join codes, or payment-card details to Google Ads.
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API: Help us measure whether advertising leads to actions such as creating a roll call, starting checkout, subscribing, or receiving a first real check-in. Browser and server-side advertising events are sent only when the organizer's saved advertising-measurement choice permits them. Events may include a broad roll-call use-case category, campaign tags, purchase value, browser identifiers, and a one-way hashed version of the organizer account email. We do not send participant names, roll-call titles, notes, join codes, or payment-card details to Meta.
Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK are asked before optional analytics or advertising tools load. All visitors can use the Privacy choices link in the site footer to allow or reject analytics and advertising measurement separately, change a previous decision, or reject all optional tracking. Saved choices expire after 12 months so they can be renewed.
We recognize supported Global Privacy Control browser signals as an advertising opt-out. When that signal is active, advertising measurement remains disabled even if a conflicting local preference was previously saved.
